Summer is Malia's favorite season. It may be hot and make her sweaty, but that's preferable to her than freezing like when she was newly arrived in Teleios. Things have gotten a lot better for her since then: she got her enhanced senses back, she's moved out of the Temple, her boyfriend recognizes her and spends time with her, and hopefully she'll soon start a new job. Maybe tending a coffee shop isn't a very exciting job, but it pays and it's way better than cleaning rooms and making beds.

She still misses her wolf abilities: the claws and fangs, the superhuman strength, the reflexes and speed. Though now she knows she can eventually get them back, it still makes her feel restless, so she's taking to working off the feeling by running near the lake. While she may not be at wolf-speed yet, as a human, she's not too bad.

Malia can be found all over Teleios during the rest of the month, predominantly at: the Temple (she still works there as a maid), at Full Moon Java Coffee Shop (working part time there), around the lake, near Derek's loft, but other locations are ok too.
